AoE (Area of Effect) escalation is a built-in mechanic increasing the damage of spells that are designed to attack three or more players.

- Escalation begins with 2 players at 5% and adds 5% per additional target
- The damage increase is added after all other buffs and does not get reduced by the usual damage soft cap (happening around 150% damage bonus).
- Player spells will only damage up to 9+ players at one time with an additional 40%
