Dagger Fighter is a node on the Destiny Board. The previous node to unlock Dagger Fighter is Journeyman Hunter. Daggers are highly mobile melee weapons that excel at inflicting damage and de-buffing targets. They are also well suited for attacking targets who have a large Focus Fire Protection buff as daggers have 75% Resilience Penetration.

Dagger Fighter Weapons

Normal Dagger Weapons

Standard Weapons: Crafted using common resources, these weapons tend to be much easier to obtain than Artifact Weapons.

Artifact Dagger Weapons

Artifact Weapons: Require specific artifact items to craft, start with higher Item Power than Standard Weapons, and benefit less from Enchantment Levels.

Abilities

  • Abilities are unlocked as you level up the Arcanist skill (see the Unlock Table below).
  • First, Second, and Passive slot abilities are common to all weapons, while Third Slot abilities are unique to each weapon and do not have a level requirement.
  • The default hotkeys for First, Second, and Third Slot abilities are Q, W, and E, respectively.

Sunder Armor

Energy Cost 10 An attack dealing 223 physical damage. Reduces the target's Armor and Magic Resist by 12 against players and 18 against mobs. Armor reduction lasts for 8s. (Stacks up to 3 times)

Assassin Spirit

Energy Cost 20 Once activated you gain an Assassin Spirit every 3s. Each stack increases your damage by 6%. (stacks up to 3 times). But while this ability is activated you also take 3.846% more damage. This ability can stay toggled on for up to 15s.

Second Slot Abilities


Throwing Blades

Energy Cost 37 Throw 3 Throwing Blades in a cone. Each Blade deals 71 damage. For each enemy hit, you gain 15% damage buff, and your movement speed is increased by 25%, for 5s (Can stack up to 3 times, and gains one stack for each unique enemy hit.)

Forbidden Stab

Energy Cost 23 A fiendish attack dealing 281 damage, and reducing the target's ability to heal by 40% and healing received by 40% for 5s.

Infiltration

Energy Cost 30 Set a destination that you will jump to after a short delay, releasing a smoke bomb at your destination. The bomb deals 89 damage, and makes any enemy target in the area sleep for 4.69s.

Shadow Edge

Energy Cost 40 Throws a knife in front of you. If it hits an enemy, the enemy will be stunned for 2.45s and you will be pulled behind this enemy. (You are immune to damage and crowd control while being pulled.)

Chain Slash

Energy Cost 30 Quickly slash through multiple enemies. You continue jumping to the closes enemy in an 8m radius for up to 4 times, dealing 354 physical damage to each enemy. While you are slashing through the enemies you are invisible to players. (can't hit the same enemy multiple times)

Energy Cost - Every 4 normal attacks, you inflicat a bleeding on the enemy. This deals an additional 53 per second for 1.5s.

Third Slot Abilities

Poison Coating

Energy Cost 47 Applies a forbidden poison to your weapon. While active, every normal attack inflicts an additional 153 magic damage and also increases your attack speed by 12% and your move speed by 35% for1s(stacks up to 3 times)

The poison haze emitting from your weapon will reduce your max and current health by 3% every second. The longer the poison stays activated, the more it will reduce your max health.

Slit Throat

Energy Cost 40 Deals very high Physical damage. This spell consumes all charges of Sunder Armor or Assassin's Spirit, increasing total damage based on the number consumed. 75% of the damage will be dealt instantly, and the remaining 25% as bleed damage over time.

Zero charges: 476 total damage

Once charge: 762 total damage

Two charges: 1143 total damage

Three charges: 1619 total damage

Energy Cost 55 While channeling you root the enemy, cancel enemy spell casting, and repeatedly deal 114 damage, for up to 10 hits. After the first hit, the enemy receives an additional 161 bleed damage per second for 3 seconds. Any shield abilities on the target are broken.

Lunging Stabs

Energy Cost 54 Dashes to a ground target location, dealing Physical damage to any enemy in the way. The damage amount depends on each enemy's remaining health.

Hitting at least one enemy below 40% Health also shortens all your ability cooldown times by 10s

Black Hands


Devastating Strike

Energy Cost 55 A two-punch combo. The first hit removes all positive effects of the enemy and stuns them for 0.89s (ignoring Crowd Control Resistance). After the stun is over you apply the second hit, which knocks the enemy 9m away.

First Hit: Deals 150 true damage.

Second Hit: Deals 529 physical damage.

Ghost Strike

Energy Cost 44 Dashes through an enemy, dealing 635 magical damage. After the attack you will become invisible to other players and your subsequent energy costs are reduced by 50% for 3s.

If you have 3 Sunder Armor charges on the enemy, or 3 Assassin's Spirit charges on yourself, the charges are consumed and this ability can be used again immediately.
