General Information

The Grandmaster's Heavy Crossbow is a Tier 7 Crossbow which may be obtained by crafting or via the Market Place.

There are two options for the Q spell slot: Auto Fire (First) and Explosive Bolt (First)

There are four options for the W spell slot: Knockback Shot (Second), Sunder Shot (Second), Caltrops (Second), and Noise Eraser (Second)

There is one option for the E spell slot: Sweeping Bolt (Third)

There are four options for the passive slot: Forceful Bolts (Passive), Well-Prepared (Passive), Energetic, and Furious

The Grandmaster's Heavy Crossbow may have different Item Quality ranging from Normal to Masterpiece

The Grandmaster's Heavy Crossbow Item Quality may be increased at a Repair Station for a fee

13 October 2021Call to Arms Patch 11Explosive Mine damage was lowered in the past to reduce the one-shot heavy meta in earlier patches. However, since AoE Escalation has been reduced since then, the damage nerf has now been reverted to make the Explosive Mine a ZvZ force to be reckoned with again.

The projectiles of Noise Eraser and Knockback Shot had misleading hitboxes. Noise Eraser in particular would hit even when it appeared to be dodged, due to a too-wide hitbox. Both projectiles can now be tracked more reliably.

    • Reduced size of projectile hitbox; adjusted projectile position to better match it
  • Knockback Shot (all Crossbows):
    • Reduced size of projectile hitbox; adjusted projectile position to better match it
