  • Frost Shot (all Bows)
    • Cooldown: 15s → 18s
  • Ray of Light (all Bows)
    • Cooldown: 14s → 12s
    • Hit Delay: 0.8s → 0.6s
    • Standtime: 0.4s → 0.3s
25 April 2022Lands Awakened Patch 8With the recent changes to Enchanted Quiver, the stacks fell off more easily and had a slower ramp up time, allowing more counter play. However, regular Bows were somewhat underrepresented. For this reason, the changes to their stack duration have been reverted, while their damage burst potential has been reduced to balance this.
  • Enchanted Quiver (regular Bows):
    • Attack Damage Increase per Stack: 30% -> 25%
    • Attack Speed Increase per Stack: 13% -> 10%
    • Attack Buff Duration: 3.5s -> 5s
26 January 2022Lands Awakened Patch 4With the increase in combat pacing in recent years, Rain of Arrows channel duration had become too long. To make it more useful in modern Albion, its channel duration was decreased and damage per tick increased, making it less dependent on the Explosive Arrows buff to deal significant damage.
  • Rain of Arrows (Longbow):
    • Max Channel Duration: 2.5s → 1.5s
    • Damage per Tick: 60 → 90
    • Total Damage Ticks: 6 → 4
21 September 2021Call to Arms Patch 10Regular Bows are still a very strong pick in the 5v5 Crystal League. To make their damage output a bit less explosive, the ramp-up to the max stack buff now takes slightly longer. Additionally, the attack buff stacks now fall off more quickly if the Bow stops attacking. These changes should offer more counterplay options and a bigger reaction window for the enemy team, while still keeping the general Bow playstyle intact, where it can focus single enemies down very quickly once max attack buff stacks are reached.
  • Enchanted Quiver (Regular Bow):
    • Attack Damage Increase per Stack: 35% → 30%
    • Attack Speed Increase per Stack: 15% → 13%
    • Max Attack Buff Stack: 6 → 7
    • Attack Buff Duration: 5s → 2.5s
31 May 2021Call to Arms Patch 5/6 & Hotfix 6.1Bows

Particularly in the 5v5 scene, the regular Bow has been a very strong item, even to the point of having multiple users on a team. The resistance debuff has thus been updated to be non-stacking, to reduce the effectiveness of focusing the same target with two bows. Additionally, since the resistance reduction of various weapons has recently been toned down, the resistance reduction of this still very strong backline weapon has been decreased as well.

  • Enchanted Quiver (regular Bows):
    • Resistance Reduction on max stacks: 0.15 → 0.13
    • The Resistance Reduction debuff can no longer be stacked from multiple sources, so two bows focusing the same target will override each other's debuffs
6 May 2021Call to Arms Patch 4 (Balance Patch)Bows
