General Information

The Master's Bridled Fury is a Tier 6 Dagger which may be obtained by crafting or via the Market Place.

There are three options for the Q spell slot: Sunder Armor (First), Deadly Swipe (First), and Assassin Spirit (First)

There are five options for the W spell slot: Throwing Blades (Second), Dash (Second), Forbidden Stab (Second), Shadow Edge (Second), and Chain Slash (Second)

There is one option for the E spell slot: Merciless Finish (Third)

There are four options for the passive slot: Deep Cuts (Passive), Life Leech (Daggers) (Passive), Attack Speed (Passive), and Aggressive Rush (Passive)

The Master's Bridled Fury may have different Item Quality ranging from Normal to Masterpiece

The Master's Bridled Fury Item Quality may be increased at a Repair Station for a fee

5 October 2022Into the Fray Patch 7Throwing Blades’ Damage Increase stacking made it very powerful in large-scale fights where it is easy to reach max stacks. To reduce the possible synergies with stacking damage buffs for one-shotting builds, its Damage Increase has been reduced. At the same time, the raw damage of the Throwing Blade itself has been slightly increased to soften the damage reduction effects in small-scale combat.

    • Damage Increase per Stack: 15% → 10%

  • 26 January 2022Lands Awakened Patch 4The maximum damage of Bridled Fury has been reduced to make one-shots less likely with the new AoE Escalation. To further increase counterplay options, the caster is no longer immune to damage during the backward leap, so vulnerable to reflected damage.

      • The backward leap is no longer immune to damage (now only immune to CC)

    Deadly Swipe now consumes more energy when used purely for mobility, but is more energy efficient in fights, even in PvE. Chain Slash's first hit had too much value, so its damage output was adjusted to increase with each chained hit, reducing its damage in 1v1, but also adding a more interesting dynamic by rewarding multiple hits in group fights. Forbidden Stab can now completely negate any healing and interrupts spell casting. This new strong-but-short debuff places more emphasis on the timing of the ability activation.

    • Deadly Swipe (all Daggers):
      • Energy Cost: 6 → 7
      • Energy Regain on hit: 2 → 4
      • Energy is now also regained when hitting mobs (no longer limited to enemy players)
    • Forbidden Stab (all Daggers):
      • Hit Delay: 0.1s → 0s
      • Standtime: 0.2s → 0.1s
      • Removed the Healing Received and Healing Cast Debuff
      • Instead, the target won't be able to receive any healing for 1.5s (this debuff is cleanseable)
      • The ability now also interrupts enemy spell casting
    • Chain Slash (all Daggers):
      • Damage now increases with each consecutive hit:
        • Damage 1st Hit: 120 → 90
        • Damage 2nd Hit: 120 → 110

    Dagger Pair has been very strong in the new 2v2 Hellgates. The shortened cast time made it impossible to react to in certain situations, so the cast time has been reverted to its longer duration from before the last update. Its damage has also been reduced, as with the recently reduced standtime, players could directly follow Slit Throat with more damage, e.g. Chain Slash. Together these abilities had an extremely high damage burst. With the reduced damage of Slit Throat, the oneshot potential is reduced, but the overall damage output still stays very high.

    A standtime was also added to Bloodletters, so players have to commit more to the action and allow for more room to punish it if spammed for disengagements.

      • Cast Time: 0.3s → 0.4s
      • Reduced all direct and bleed damage by 7%
    • Lunging Stabs (Bloodletter):
      • Standtime: 0s → 0.35s
