General Information

The Master's Enigmatic Staff is a Tier 6 Arcane Staff which may be obtained by crafting or via the Market Place.

There are three options for the Q spell slot: Energy Bolt, Arcane Protection, and Magic Shock

There are five options for the W spell slot: Frazzle, Energy Beam, Empowering Beam, Motivating Cleanse, and Mimic

There is one option for the E spell slot: Protective Beam

There are four options for the passive slot: Hush, Energetic, Aggressive Caster, and Calmness

The Master's Enigmatic Staff may have different Item Quality ranging from Normal to Masterpiece

The Master's Enigmatic Staff Item Quality may be increased at a Repair Station for a fee

13 October 2021Call to Arms Patch 11The Locus is a very strong support weapon in ZvZs. Previously it served a dual role when the frontline engaged or was engaged by removing the enemy’s buffs and cleansing all allies, thereby acting as both offensive and defensive support. To encourage more considered decisions in these situations, the Purge effect of the Void has been removed. This opens up the ZvZ meta to other support weapons, with less focus on this single item. Additionally, the max target count for Motivating Cleanse was increased to make it more useful in large-scale fights.
  • Motivating Cleanse (all Arcane Staffs):
    • Max affected targets: 5 → 10
  • Void (Malevolent Locus):
    • No longer purges enemies

While Black Hole finds its uses in PvE, its cast range has been increased to make it more attractive in PvP. The adjustment to Dark Sphere is primarily for server performance, as reducing it from 5 to 3 auras ensures better performance in large fights.

  • Black Hole (Witchwork Staff):
    • Cast Range: 11m → 14m
  • Dark Sphere (Evensong):
    • Max Enemy targets to get an Aura: 5 → 3
    • Healing Received Reduction: 20% → 25%
    • Damage Reduction vs players: 20% → 25%
    • Damage Reduction vs mobs: 8% → 12%

  • Frazzle:
    • Cast Time: 1.2s -> 1.5s
    • Cooldown: 0s -> 10s
    • Damage: 91.99 -> 103.11
    • No longer reduces resistances; instead increases the target's damage taken by 40%.
    • Debuff Duration: 7s -> 5s
    • Energy Cost: 4 -> 9
  • Empowering Beam:
    • Tick Interval: 0.3s -> 0.25s (this means the beam stacks up faster)
    • Max Channel Duration: 7.5s -> 5s
  • Energy Beam:
    • Can now also be cast on allies. When cast on allies it restores their energy.
