Trainee Gatherer is a Destiny Board node which enables the characters to use the following gathering gear:

•   Novice's Axe
•   Novice's Stone Hammer
•   Novice's Skinning Knife
•   Novice's Pickaxe
•   Novice's Sickle
•   Journeyman's Fishing Rod

The Trainee Gatherer can be unlocked by gathering.
