Patch LinkDatePatch NamePatch Notes
8 June 2022Into the Fray UpdateGraphics for static resources (Stone, Ore, Wood, Fiber) updated and improved:
  • Visuals updated to make resources more appealing to gather and easier to distinguish from each other and their surroundings
  • Higher-level resources now look more valuable and consistently increase in size
  • Treasure Versions of resources updated visually to show their greater quantities
  • Enchantment effects updated for readability and attractiveness
16 June 2021Call to Arms Patch 7 (Season 13 Patch)
  • To increase the value of gathering resources in the open world, the overall amount of enchanted resources in the world has been increased – the spawn rate of .2 (Rare) resources has been doubled, while the spawn rate of .3 (Exceptional) resources has been quadrupled
  • To further solidify the value of each individual resource, transmutation prices have been adjusted
  • Transmutation prices for resources have generally been increased, with lower tiers seeing more of an increase than higher tiers
  • To mitigate the increase in transmutation costs for resources the respawn rate of all T5+ resources in the open world has been increased by 20%
  • Transmutation prices for upgrading Runes to Souls, Souls to Relics, and Relics to Avalonian Shards have been significantly reduced, with the goal of making high-level Artifacts cheaper to craft and more accessible to use.
  • 25 March 2020Queen Patch 8This patch brings several changes to higher-tier resources intended to make high-level gathering more rewarding. Here's what's new:
    • The overall amount of T6, T7, and T8 resources in the world has been increased by 20%.
    • The overall number of T7 and T8 resource nodes has been reduced, but their respawn rate has been increased drastically. In practical terms, this means T7-8 nodes are more sparse, but once a node is found it is much more likely to have charges.
    • Additionally, the likelihood that any given resource node is a Large Node (23-27 charges, see details below) has been increased significantly.

Here's a detailed breakdown of the changes:

    • Overall amount of Tier 6-8 spawning in the world increased by 20%
    • Small Nodes now once again behave as they did with the Queen update. As a reminder:
      • With Queen Update: Small Nodes spawned with a single charge after being depleted.
      • With Queen Patch 5: Small Nodes spawned fully charged, but respawn time was increased accordingly
      • With Patch 8: Small Nodes will again only spawn with a single charge and will charge up over time if not gathered; respawn time has been decreased accordingly
    • Shifted the overall large-to-small ratio to be more in favor of Large Nodes
    • Total number of Tier 8 nodes in the world reduced by 75%, but in turn the respawn rate has increased massively:
      • Large T8 Nodes (27 charges) respawn rate increased by 200%
      • Small T8 Nodes (2 charges) respawn rate increased by 500%
    • Overall amount of Tier 7 nodes in the world reduced by 50%, but in turn their respawn rate has increased greatly:
      • Big T7 nodes (23 charges) respawn rate increased by 180%
      • Small T7 nodes (3 charges) respawn rate increased by 290%
    • Number of T6 nodes in T8 clusters increased by 100%
    • Number of T6 nodes in T7 clusters increased by 33%
    • Chance for Tier 7 and 8 animals to drop a cub has been decreased accordingly, as they now spawn more quickly - their overall drop rates remain the same
    26 February 2020Queen Patch 5
  • Small Tier 7 and Tier 8 nodes now spawn fully charged (Tier 7: 3 charges, Tier 8: 2 charges)
  • Small Tier 7 node respawn time tripled (26100 seconds to 78300 seconds)
  • Small Tier 8 node respawn time doubled (68300 seconds to 126600 seconds)
  • Hide and Critter carcasses despawn after 600 seconds instead of 86400 seconds
  • 9 October 2019Percival Patch 7
    • Resources and critters in safe zones (T2-T4) now take twice as long to respawn
10 April 2019Oberon Patch 2 / Free-to-Play LaunchTo prepare for a potential influx of low-level players, the respawn rate of resources in safe and yellow zones has been increased (i.e. the refill time for these resource nodes has been reduced):
    •   T2 respawns about 285% faster (now 21 seconds, was 60s)
    •   T3 respawns about 400% faster (now 45 seconds, was 180s)
    •   T4 respawns about 500% faster (now 100 seconds, was 500s)
    •   T5 respawns about 170% faster (now 450 seconds, was 750s)
    20 March 2019Oberon Update - Oberon Update Hotfix #1, #2, and #3
  • Increased average respawn time of T6 resources from 5357 seconds to 10000 seconds. This should reduce the flow of T6 resources into the game, compensating for the additional T6 sources added with Guardians and Guardian Aspects.
  • Decreased harvest time for resources from critter corpses (Rock Elementals, Ore Elementals, Forest Spirits, Dryads, Cougars) by 50% to make them more attractive for gatherers
  • Outlands resource hotspots: added more T8 and T7 resources, replaced T5 critter mobs with T7
  • 21 November 2018Nimue UpdateTier 8 Resource Redistribution
    • T8 resources that were in territories have been redistributed into the open world
    • High-end regions in the Outlands (the faction homebases and the regions around them) now spawn tier 8 resources regularly
    • Since territories are now boosted with Crystal Realm Battles, this is an opportunity to make tier 8 resource harvesting more interesting and more fairly accessible for all guilds

    Tier 5 Resource Changes

    • Nodes can now have up to 5 charges (up from 4)
    • Chance of rare resources is doubled in nodes that spawn in Tier 5 zones on the Royal Continent
    • For example, for rarity level 1 resources:
      • Yellow Zones: 12% → 24%
      • red: 20% → 40%
